Alternative perspectives of Manchester along a short stretch of Rochdale Canal #1

As part of a student module investigating the pricing of land for development in Manchester, I’ve been exploring canal-side development opportunities, particularly on the Ashton Canal.

To get more of a feel for the urban perspective from the canals in Manchester I went for a short walk a week ago along the Rochdale Canal from Deansgate-Castlefield station, to Canal St.
